Line + Color =

☑ Theme
"Lines" are drawn, and "colors" are applied.
Just that.
It's the last one left after cutting and scraping off extra things.
It's tiring to make such works all the time, so I sometimes draw colorful pictures.
☑ Type of work
Mainly geometric and abstract digital works.

About me
Born in the countryside near Kyoto.
My family has been farming in the land for generations since more than 200 years ago (Edo period). However, their life after World War II was poor, and in the latter half of the 20th century, women in the family were weaving silk as a side business. Therefore, I have come into contact with "nature," "creation," and "color" since I was a child.
After moving to Tokyo to attend university, I started creating works of art.
-
Perhaps because of my major in aerospace engineering (especially computational fluid dynamics) at university, the theme of my art was "regularity" and "inorganic matter and efficiency".
-
After graduating from university, I was engaged in corporate / economic analysis, securities investment, and asset management at the financial institution I belonged to.
-
In experience of the financial crisis and natural disasters, the theme of my art has changed to "irregularity and uncertainty" and "emotion and numerical value".
-
Currently, I'm creating under the theme of "irregularity in regularity", "regularity in irregularity", and "non-unification".
I used to give my art work only to my acquaintances. However, as I began to feel a weakness in my growth in expressiveness and creativity, I created this home page to inspire myself.
The purpose is to keep a record of my activity and give some meaning to my work of art.
